This is the best stuff ever. If there were ever a flavor of Purely Decadent that was going to make me fat, it was the regular old cookie dough variety. But now that I’ve discovered it also comes in a coconut milk variety, I am even more susceptible to fattening from this stuff.
The coconut milk version is richer, smoother, and creamier than the normal kind, which is great in this flavour because overall the vanilla and cookie dough is a very light combination. The coconut milk adds just a touch of richness to what otherwise might be a very “vanilla” vanilla, making the taste just that much better.
If you haven’t had the chance to try out some of the coconut milk varieties, you definitely should, it’s well worth it.

Hi chef rachel, thanks for the comment. Sounds like a neat idea for sure.
You’re right, this ice cream is the BEST I’ve had so far!
Agreed!! I love this stuff. Have you tried the coconut “yogurt”? OMG the vanilla and plain are amazing!
Where can I get this coconut yogurt? Sounds interesting
Yum! That looks/sounds very good. I’ll have to stop by Whole Foods today and pick a few pints up [=
I was just snacking on this a few seconds ago.. very good indeed. Very expensive, though. They want $5.50 a pint here at Sunflower Market in Boulder, CO.
Any recipes for making this on our own?
Hi Brett,
I actually picked up a cookbook on the subject, so expect more from me in the near future
