Vegan barbecues are the best though! You can make all sorts of good stuff and grilled veggies as always a win in my book. How did it go?

I’m hosting a vegan potluck on Monday night! I’ve got about 20 people attending… 2 of which are actually vegan, but I’m hoping someone will catch on. It’s barbecue themed, ironically enough, since a vegan barbecue is oxymoronic…

This sounds like so much fun! I throw a lot of vegan parties though I am usually the only vegan there. I do have some vegetarian friends but generally everyone there is an omnivore. That is the true test, good food is good food whether you eat animals or not. I wish I knew of a local group like this, sounds like a good way to make friends with common interests. Vegans, at least in my neck of the woods, seem pretty hard to come by (or at least we do not advertise it for the most part) and male vegans doubly so since it is an act of compassion which is sadly not seen as stereotypically masculine. I’ll have to try out your lentil soup recipe, I am always on the look out for the perfect one.
